Spaghetti with Garlic, Olive Oil, and Chili

Serves:4
  • 1 pound Spaghetti
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 teaspoon crushed red peppers
  • 1/4 cup Italian parsley, chopped
  • parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente.

While pasta is cooking, warm olive oil, in a medium skillet. Add garlic and saute until translucent, 1 to 2 minutes. Be careful to not burn garlic. Add crushed red peppers.

Add contents of skillet and chopped parsley to drained pasta. Toss well, season with salt and pepper, and serve with grated parmesan.
