Mint Raita

  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 2 1/2 cups fresh yogurt
  • cumin powder
  • red chilli powder
  • pinch of sugar
  • salt

Using a mortar & pestle, grind mint leaves, with a few drops of water, into a fine paste.

Take the fresh yogurt and pass that through a sieve so there are no lumps in it. Add salt to taste, a pinch of sugar, and mint leaves paste. Mix well and garnishing with roasted cumin powder and red chilli powder.
